Journeys App

The Journeys app provides crucial support for children navigating the Barnahus experience—a child-centered, multidisciplinary service designed for young victims of violence, abuse, and exploitation. Barnahus, or “Children’s House,” brings together professionals from legal, social, and medical fields under one roof to create a safe, child-friendly environment. However, for a child entering this process, the unfamiliar faces, steps, and surroundings can add to the trauma of past experiences. The Journeys app helps to reduce this stress by clearly explaining each step, offering interactive features, and providing relaxation tools.
